JVL Safety Solutions was formed in Humble, TX in September of 2022, built on the vision of Eric Linton, Founder/CEO, who brings years of hands-on experience in the utilities, transmission, distribution, vegetation management, data centers, gas, electric, gas liquefaction, solar, civil, construction, new construction, offshore, wind turbine generators and nuclear sector. Inspired by a commitment to protect lives and elevate standards, our company was created to be a trusted partner for organizations striving to build lasting cultures of safety.

Eric Linton - Chief Executive Officer

Eric Linton

With over 27 years of hands-on experience in safety management, Eric Linton has built a respected career advancing safety standards across some of the most complex and high-risk industries. As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of JVL Safety Solutions, Eric draws from a diverse background in utilities, substations, transmission and distribution, civil and new construction, power generation, renewable energy, nuclear facilities, and oil, gas, and petrochemical operations. His leadership is anchored in integrity, accountability, and a deep commitment to ensuring that every worker returns home safely each day. As a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), Eric is recognized for his expertise from working in several different industries. When it comes to the utility and substation industry, where he provided oversight on projects involving high-voltage electrical systems, switchgear, and protective relay installations. He has worked extensively with crews to evaluate hazards associated with live-line work, confined spaces, energized equipment, and complex switching procedures. Eric's role in substation environments required not only compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards, but also the ability to anticipate real-world risks and implement strategies that safeguarded workers without slowing progress on critical infrastructure projects. As a Certified Tree Safety Professional (CTSP) through the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), Eric has contributed to large-scale vegetation management, transmission and distribution projects, ensuring safety protocols were in place during line construction, conductor stringing, pole and tower erection, and energized maintenance. In power generation, he has guided safety management for gas turbines, generators, nuclear operations, and renewable energy projects, including wind turbine generator installations and maintenance. His experience in oil, gas, liquefaction, and petrochemicals includes oversight of shutdowns, turnarounds, and new facility builds, where toxic gases, pressurized systems, and hazardous chemicals demanded precision and rigorous hazard communication. Eric is also highly experienced in the application and training of safety data sheets (SDS), hazard communication, and chemical safety—empowering workers to understand not just the procedures, but the reasons behind them. His hands-on leadership emphasizes proactive risk identification, real-world training, and consistent communication to instill a culture of accountability and awareness across all levels of an organization. As a trainer, auditor, and mentor, Eric has led safety briefings and programs covering PPE, fall protection, scaffolding, confined space entry, electrical safety, and high-risk industrial operations. With over 8 years of experience in safety management and a background in elite team leadership, Ronnie Coluzzi brings a unique blend of operational insight, strategic marketing expertise, and a deep personal commitment to workplace safety. As Chief Marketing Officer of the company, Ronnie is responsible for translating the company's mission into meaningful communication that resonates with clients, workers, and safety professionals across multiple industries. As a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), Ronnie is recognized for a professional safety journey that spans several high-risk and rapidly growing sectors, including Vegetation Management, Wind Energy, Solar Power, and Data Centers. In each of these industries, he has played an active role in developing, promoting, and supporting safety programs that reduce risk, improve compliance, and protect workers in the field and on-site. His early career included hands-on safety management in the Vegetation Management industry as a Certified Tree Safety Professional (CTSP) through the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), where he worked closely with crews performing tree trimming and right-of-way clearing—high-risk tasks involving power lines, heavy equipment, and environmental hazards. From there, Ronnie transitioned into the renewable energy sector, where he supported safety operations in both Wind and Solar energy projects. His work included implementing fall protection protocols, overseeing high-angle rescue training, and promoting electrical and arc flash safety awareness. Ronnie's experience in Data Center construction and operations further expanded his safety expertise. In these high-security, high-intensity environments, he helped ensure the safe coordination of electrical, mechanical, and installation trades—balancing tight project timelines with the critical need for incident prevention and hazard control. A natural leader, Ronnie's leadership roots trace back to his time as team captain of the University of Iowa football team in 2016. His ability to motivate, unify, and drive teams toward a common goal has carried over seamlessly into the safety world—where trust, communication, and accountability are critical on every job site. Ronnie earned his degree in Marketing from Central Michigan University in 2016, and he now leverages that background to help shape the company's brand, messaging, and industry presence. His goal as CMO is to ensure that the value of safety is not just seen as a requirement—but as a culture and a standard that clients can trust. Ronnie is a Federal Aviation Administration Remote Drone Pilot regulation 14 CFR Part 107, giving Ronnie the ability to capture aerial footage for Marketing purposes and or Safety Inspections on equipment for JVL Safety Solutions clients altogether. More than anything, Ronnie is driven by his role as a husband and father. With his wife (Megan) and two daughters (Chandler & Riley) at home, his dedication to safety is personal. He knows firsthand the importance of ensuring that every worker—just like him—gets home safely to their families at the end of each day. Ronnie Coluzzi leads with integrity, vision, and heart—bringing passion and purpose to everything he does, both in the field and in the office.
